Founding-client enquiries and pilot data
Runnrr is operated by Dmitrijs Vitjazevs. Contact dv@runnrr.io about privacy. Use the booking form to describe a workflow and request a call. Company enquiry handling is explained below.
Public campaign labels, such as the industry page or campaign that led you here, may be included with your enquiry. Please do not put personal information in campaign URLs. Do not send sensitive client records through the form.
Each pilot needs its own written data arrangements before live records are connected. We agree the systems, hosting locations, authorised people, service providers and retention or deletion requirements for that scope. For a company workflow with local AI inference, we assess and test the model on the client’s hardware and document which processing stays there. Connected messaging and business systems keep their own storage and processing arrangements. No general promise of fully on-device processing, a specific hosting country or regulatory certification applies to every pilot.
Company enquiries
The sales form collects your name, work email, company and workflow description, plus tools you choose to mention. We use this information to respond to your enquiry. Submissions are delivered by Resend to dv@runnrr.io, with your email as the reply address. They are not added to a marketing list or included in analytics events by the form.
Beta access requests
The beta form collects your email address, the work you would like help with and an optional phone number. We use these details to review your request and contact you about the beta, including by call or text if you provide a phone number. Requests are delivered by Resend to dv@runnrr.io, with your email as the reply address. They are not added to a marketing list or included in analytics events by the form.
Local-first
Your board is stored on your Mac. Saved knowledge is kept in files you can read and edit.
You choose your sources
Setup requires WhatsApp or Granola. You choose your source and the conversations to scan. Scanning and drafting use online AI.
Sharing is deliberate
Public sharing uploads the content you choose to share. Your local board is separate.
What runnrr is
The Runnrr Mac app is an AI coworker for getting work done, with projects, tasks and saved context. The app processing described below is separate from the custom company workflows agreed in individual pilot terms. Your board is stored locally, while optional integrations, account features, and public sharing use online services. It is built and operated by Dmitrijs Vitjazevs.
Getting started requires signing in and connecting WhatsApp or Granola. After setup, local tasks and files remain available offline. Connected scans and AI services need internet access and the permissions below. Cloud sync is currently disabled in the shipping Mac app.
What data lives where
Your local board and files are stored in these locations:
- SQLite database in
~/Library/Application Support/runnrr/— your tasks, projects, saved context and tags - Markdown files in folders you choose (default
~/Documents/runnrr/) — your written knowledge and supporting material - macOS Keychain entries — auth tokens and the encryption key for cloud sync (if enabled)
Connected scans, public sharing, account services, update checks, and usage analytics can send data online. Cloud sync is currently disabled in the shipping Mac app:
Mac app storage
The shipping Mac app has cloud sync disabled. The encrypted-backup option described in earlier versions is not currently offered as a working backup service.
Legacy web app storage
Legacy web features store data on runnrr servers in plaintext when used. These are separate from the current Mac app’s local board.
The web app at runnrr.io stores everything in a cloud database (Supabase). If you only use the web app, all your data is in the cloud by default.
What macOS permissions the app asks for
You can revoke any of these any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security:
- File access — to read and write your Runnrr folder and the folders you add to the Knowledge Base.
- Network access — for signing in, checking for updates, the online features you use and optional usage analytics.
You choose which sources to connect
You connect integrations in Settings. You can disconnect any of them at any time.
Granola
Connect Granola and runnrr scans your meeting notes for action items, then creates task cards from them. We access the meeting title, summary and action items via Granola's API. Meeting text is sent through runnrr’s scanning service to Anthropic for extraction. Meeting summaries and transcripts can be temporarily cached on the server’s filesystem; they are not written to the meeting database by this scanning flow.
WhatsApp scanning
WhatsApp scanning reads recent conversations available in WhatsApp for Mac, with your permission. You choose which chats to include. Scanning sends selected message text through Runnrr to Anthropic for analysis. Attachment contents are not analyzed. Suggested tasks, relevant message excerpts, saved knowledge and examples of your own writing are kept on your Mac. The scanning service does not log message text or AI responses.
Gmail and Outlook
Gmail and Outlook are optional. Composio manages the Google or Microsoft connection and its OAuth tokens. Runnrr requests read-only profile and recent email data; it does not send, delete, move or change email. A scan checks up to 25 messages from the last three days and sends bounded email text through Runnrr to Anthropic to identify follow-ups. Runnrr does not save or log the raw email on its server. Suggested tasks are returned to your Mac. Composio processes connection and API traffic under its privacy policy. Disconnecting asks Composio to revoke and remove the connection; existing tasks remain on your Mac.
Reply drafts and project suggestions
Runnrr is enabled by default and prepares replies and task-update suggestions after scans. You can turn it off from the AI controls; an existing opt-out is preserved. Preparing or rewriting a reply sends the task, relevant conversation, supporting files, saved knowledge, linked project and selected examples of your sent replies through Runnrr to Anthropic. Opening a task can also send its details and your active projects to suggest a connection. Runnrr selects relevant information rather than sending your whole Knowledge Base. Information from different WhatsApp accounts is kept separate. You can read and edit saved knowledge in the Knowledge Base. Drafts, writing examples and contact associations are saved on your Mac. The analysis service does not log or save the submitted content or responses. These features do not require a separate Claude or Codex account. You review suggestions; Runnrr does not send replies or assign projects automatically.
Project chat
Sending a message to Runnrr in a project sends a limited amount of its brief, task details, linked source excerpts and recent chat through Runnrr to Anthropic. Asking Runnrr to suggest links also sends excerpts from possible sources that are not yet linked. Each suggested link needs your confirmation. Chat history and project links are saved on your Mac. Project chat cannot send messages or change tasks.
Claude Code and Codex
When you connect Claude Code or Codex, those tools can read and update your board and supporting files on your Mac. When a connected tool uses that information with an online AI service, the relevant content is sent to its provider under your account.
Usage analytics
The Mac app sends usage events to help us understand setup and feature use. An installation starts with a random identifier. When you sign in, analytics can be associated with your runnrr account.
What is sent: an event name (such as onboarding_completed), your runnrr and macOS versions, and low-detail values like status: adapter_missing. Counts are rounded into ranges rather than sent exactly.
What is never sent: your card titles, descriptions or context, file names, paths or contents, saved knowledge or decision text, folder locations, meeting titles or transcripts, and your email address. Turn it off any time in Profile → Updates → Usage analytics.
Claude Chat (cloud)
If you enable cloud access and connect Claude Chat, claude.ai can read and write your board and notes via runnrr.io's API. Anthropic processes the data you ask Claude to work with subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
Slack (web app only)
When you connect Slack on the web app, runnrr requests read-only access to your messages, channels and direct messages: channel and group history, DM history, conversation list, user profile names. runnrr does not post messages, send notifications or write any data to your Slack workspace. Slack content from threads you turn into tasks is stored as card context so Claude can help you draft replies.
Who else touches the data
- Supabase — authentication and cloud database. Hosts your data when you sign in or use the web app.
- Vercel — hosts the runnrr.io website.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — processes hosted scans, reply drafts and project chat, as well as content used through the web app or Claude Chat integration.
- Granola — only when you connect it. Meeting data flows from Granola to runnrr, never the other way.
- Slack — only when you connect it.
The website uses PostHog for product analytics, including page visits, download clicks, and referral information. Analytics can be linked to your account when you sign in. Browser identifiers and acquisition cookies may be used. The founding-client booking journey also carries public campaign labels between pages in the URL, without adding a campaign cookie. The website also uses Ahrefs Web Analytics to measure visits and referral sources without cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or third-party advertising networks.
Update checks
The Mac app uses Sparkle to check for updates from runnrr.io. The update check sends your current app version, macOS version and CPU architecture so we can serve the right binary. These checks are separate from optional usage analytics.
Deleting things
You can disconnect any integration at any time from Settings. Disconnecting removes the relevant access tokens from our database immediately.
To delete your account and all cloud-synced data, email dv@runnrr.io. We will delete everything within 30 days and confirm by email.
To remove the Mac app and all local data
- Drag runnrr.app to the Trash
- Delete
~/Library/Application Support/runnrr/ - Remove saved knowledge you no longer want from your Runnrr folder. Files in other folders you added remain yours; uninstalling does not require deleting those folders.
- Open Keychain Access and remove entries containing "runnrr"
GDPR and CCPA
Under GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California) you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data. Email the address below and we will respond within 30 days. If you are an EU resident, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Not for kids
runnrr is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
