Keep order and stock records up to date

Use a status change to update the next system without entering the same details again.

  1. Order or stock status changes

  2. Agreed update runs

  3. Result saved against the record

For example, take a return from request to restock.

A returned item needs a replacement, a repair task and a stock update. Here’s how one workflow can connect them.

Record the return in your project management tool

Match the request to the order and item. Create the work record in your project management tool, then notify the receiving team.

Confirm the item has arrived

Staff check the returned item and quantity, then confirm receipt through your existing process. A delivery update can prompt the check.

Send the agreed replacement

Staff send the approved replacement after receipt. The returned item stays assigned for repair while the replacement is on its way.

Assign the repair and notify its owner

Assign the repair in your project management tool and notify its owner. Follow up while the agreed action is outstanding.

Mark the repair complete

Your team repairs the item and marks the task complete in your project management tool.

Update inventory and the work record

Update stock in your inventory system and save confirmation against the task. Failed updates stay open; repeated completion events do not add stock twice.

Questions before setup

Can we keep our project management tool?

Yes. We start with the tool, fields and status values your team uses. During setup we check access and agree where requests, owners, progress and completed results should be recorded.

Can staff get automatic reminders?

Yes. We can notify the named owner after a request or assignment is saved, then follow up while the agreed action is outstanding. SMS is one option. The channel, recipients, working hours, timing and provider costs are agreed before activation.

What ecommerce work can we automate?

Start with a recurring job: recording customer requests, assigning team tasks, following up on outstanding work or updating order and stock records. We check your process and tool access before agreeing the workflow.

Can it use our online store or marketplace?

We check whether your platform or existing provider exposes the order and request data the workflow needs. If an action is unavailable, we agree a manual handoff or a different starting point before building.

Which inventory systems can it update?

We check your exact system, permissions, item mapping and supported stock actions. For returns, we also check whether an existing integration already adds the item back so it is not counted twice.

What happens if an update fails?

Completed work stays recorded, with the system update shown separately as pending or failed. Runnrr checks the previous result before retrying and records success only after the destination confirms it.

Can we keep approval steps?

Yes. Your team keeps the decisions you want to review, including refunds, replacements and stock adjustments. We agree who approves each action and when the workflow can continue.

What does setup and operation cost?

US$299 covers one-time setup for one agreed workflow. Operation, support and provider usage cost extra. Your written quote confirms recurring fees and usage limits before you commit. $299 setup. We agree the result in writing and refund the fee if the workflow is not running within two weeks or does not deliver that result.

Does this require the Mac app?

The Mac app needs macOS 14 or later and checks sources while running. Managed workflows have separate software, hosting and operating hours, agreed and tested before live use.

Who keeps the workflow running?

Contact Dmitrijs Vitjazevs at dv@runnrr.io. Your quote covers maintenance, support hours, response arrangements and cancellation. Your team names the person who handles exceptions and professional decisions.
