Keep email, calendar and checklist roles distinct
The Outlook email add-in and calendar connection solve different handoffs. Neither listing establishes a per-document reminder or approval workflow. Confirm the behavior in your Docketwise account rather than assuming a filed attachment closes a checklist item.
Track documents by person
Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
Case, person and document | Keep each family member’s documents separate. |
Reason and official instruction | Record the attorney-approved basis for the request. |
Original, translation and expiry | Receipt alone does not establish that the document is usable. |
Next reminder and stop condition | Pause on arrival or reply; check remaining gaps. |
Attorney approval | Record who approved the item and when before filing assembly. |
Keep questionnaires and document review separate
A completed questionnaire does not show that all supporting documents have arrived. Have the attorney approve the document list, then track each original, translation and expiry against the relevant person. Keep any filing deadline under the firm’s legal supervision.
Check the latest reply before reminding
Name the specific missing document and agreed upload route in Outlook. Pause the old reminder when a client replies or sends a file. Update the remaining gap before preparing another message. The attorney approves any consequence or filing-related wording.
Assess any Runnrr handoff first
Runnrr’s Docketwise connection is unverified. A workflow around the firm’s Outlook inbox may be assessed, but direct document access, writes and status synchronization in Docketwise are not promised. Confirm access, approvals and supported actions before setup.
