Start with Karbon’s native features
Karbon describes client tasks, document sharing, integrated email and automated reminders in its client-management offering. Check the current reminder settings and completion behavior in your account before introducing a second reminder system. The exact reminder cadence and limits are not specified here.
Separate the account and period
Client / period | Expected item | What arrived | Next action |
|---|---|---|---|
ACME / October | Statement ending 4521 | 1–15 October | Keep 16–31 October open. |
ACME / October | Statement ending 7730 | Full October statement | Queue for checking; do not close account 4521. |
ACME / October | Payroll summary | Nothing yet | Remind only about the missing payroll item. |
Define what closes the request
Write the expected period beside each account. A partial upload stays open with the missing range recorded. Received means ready for checking; Checked means the assigned reviewer accepted the required coverage. The whole monthly request closes only after every applicable item passes that check.
Pause when a client replies
A reply can explain a missing statement or change the agreed date. Pause the old reminder and let the owner decide what remains. Test native reminders against a partial upload, a reply and a completed request before using them across the client list.
Use a separate workflow only for a remaining gap
If the work still crosses an inbox and Karbon, identify the specific manual handoff first. Runnrr’s Karbon connection is unverified. Any workflow around Karbon requires a check of access and supported actions before setup; no direct writes or status synchronization are promised.
