Start with MyCase’s email tools
MyCase publishes installation and usage guides for Gmail and Outlook add-ons. Review the guide for your email client and account before changing the filing process. Email filing and a document-request status are separate checks; confirm what your account actually updates.
Make each request specific
Record | Check |
|---|---|
Client and matter | Confirm the recipient and case before preparing a message. |
Document and person | Name one missing item in language the client recognises. |
Due date and owner | Use the firm-approved date and a named reviewer. |
Arrival or reply | Pause the reminder and check what remains. |
Approved wording | Save the reviewer and approved next step. |
Prepare the reminder
Use the downloadable email or text wording, replace every bracket and include the approved upload link. Give the client a way to explain a problem. Do not copy sensitive case details into texts or threaten a consequence the attorney has not approved.
Stop before a stale message goes out
Check the latest thread and arrivals immediately before sending. Pause on a reply, upload, changed deadline or paused matter. If the file is incomplete, update the request before preparing another reminder.
Where Runnrr may help
Runnrr can connect Gmail or Outlook, with the required permissions, to prepare reviewed email drafts. Any action inside MyCase needs a separate check of your version and access. This is not a claim that Runnrr updates MyCase fields or sends messages without approval.
